OSP DoLive SS Gill

Overall, the OSP DoLive SS gill is a solid bait that works well on a free rig. The bait is made out of a quality plastic that isn’t very durable that tends to last only 1 fish. Does it catch fish? Yea, but in our opinion it isn’t worth the ones. OSP makes some of our favorite baits, unfortunately, this isn’t one we would recommend.

Summary

Specifically aimed at catching big bluegill eating bass, the OSP DoLive SS Gill Creature Bait was developed by the skilled Japanese engineers at OSP to accurately mimic a small bluegill and produce several different actions depending on rigging technique. Molded with a wide body and an octagonal shaped tail, the OSP DoLive SS Gill Creature Bait perfectly represents the profile and subtle tail action of a vulnerable bluegill swimming through shallow water. Extremely versatile as well, the OSP DoLive SS Gill Creature Bait can be rigged weightless on an EWG style hook and will sink with a wide downward spiraling action. When snapped off the bottom on a weighted Texas-rig it will create a backwards loop and land in the same place that it started, this technique is great for seducing stubborn bass into biting because it remains in the strike zone for a long period of time. Another way to fish the OSP DoLive SS Gill Creature Bait is to insert a small nail weight into the head and reverse rig it with an EWG hook, which makes it glide away from you, making it deadly for targeting dark shady areas under docks or under overhanging brush. Poured in an assortment of colors, the OSP DoLive SS Gill Creature Bait is perfect for any body of water where bass and bluegill co-exist.
